Shop Carpenter

Under the supervision of the team lead, you will participate in the manufacturing and finishing of prefabricated wood walls, floors, and roofs.

Read and interpret assembly or shop drawings.
Perform cutting, assembly, and finishing operations on wood structures.
Operate cutting and assembly machinery (saw, planer, router, etc.).
Ensure quality control of prefabricated panels.
Collaborate with the production team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at optimizing operations.
Perform any other related tasks associated with the position.

DVS (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in Carpentry, Cabinetmaking, or any other relevant training.
2 to 5 years of experience in a similar shop-based role.
Overhead crane experience (an asset).
Ability to operate a forklift (an asset).
In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques and wood finishing.
Proficiency with shop tools and machinery.
Strong team spirit and ability to work independently.
Ability to read shop plans and work with precision.
